Scholarship program at the University of Houston
Above picture is of the scuplture at the M.D. Anderson library at the University of Houston. Designed by Jim Sanborn, the sculpture is made mostly of copper and bronze, the sculpture is comprised of snippets of poems, novels and prose from languages from all over the world, including Arabic, Russian, Spanish and Chinese. At night a light inside shines through illuminating the letters on the walls and ground.
