We are excited about sharing our 2019 stories with you. This year was remarkable for the Foundation as we embarked on several new education projects in US and India.

Building the pathway to social work

The renovation project of the Graduate College of Social Work (GCSW) at the University of Houston has a place close to our hearts as its impact will be felt across multiple organizations that the GCSW graduates are working at and because this project will be the beacon of inspiration for all incoming students. Nobel Prize Series and Teacher’s Summit

Partnering with the Nobel Media and Nobel Foundation to bring the Nobel Series events to India was a thrilling project. This project is the epitome of existence of philanthropy. These events and discussions with Nobel Laureates have sown the seeds in young minds about the importance and impact of science and education. Full story here.

Pioneering innovations at the intersection of Engineering and Medicine

Continuing our tradition of supporting and creating new higher education programs in emerging fields in India, the Foundation inaugurated the Center for Engineering in Medicine at the Indian Institute of Technology – Kanpur campus, India. This platform will bring interdisciplinary team of engineers, scientists and medical practitioners to solve India’s healthcare problems. Full story here.
